Integrative Therapeutics has discontinued Seasonal IC and has replaced it with the more effective Alpha-Glycosyl Isoquercitrin. We carry their Natures Way Nettle which is great for relieving mild allergy symptoms naturally and affordably, but not so good when an allergy attack comes on suddenly unless you take quite a few of them. If you liked Seasonal IC, you will love Alpha-Glycosyl Isoquercitrin.
Being that I was quite impressed with seasonal IC, I decided to carry their newer Alpha-Glycosyl Isoquercitrin (I never got that type of quick relief from any pharmaceutical including off the shelf Sudafed). You can now get Alpha-Glycosyl Isoquercitrin from both our offices and it is relatively inexpensive at $29 per container, which should last you quite a while.
Our recommendation is that for an acute attack, use Alpha-Glycosyl Isoquercitrin. For chronic allergy sufferers, 2 tablets of nettle works great to dry you up but does not work that effectively with hay fever and other highly sensitive reactions. If you have an acute attack, you should take two nettle and two Alpha-Glycosyl Isoquercitrin for maximal effect.
The manufacturer says the following about Alpha-Glycosyl Isoquercitrin. They recommend taking it one to three times per day. We suggest two if you are having symptoms, and then later in the day if needed. If you want the maximum effect on bad allergy days, take two of these and two nettle.
There are no side effects unlike most prescription and OTC allergy relievers and the product does not contain caffeine, which will keep you up at night while you are already miserable. You will be pleasantly surprised that there is no drowsiness or other undesirable side effects with either Alpha-Glycosyl Isoquercitrin or nettle.
