How does Kinesio Taping Work?
Kinesio Tape has many similar properties to human skin and when applied properly, can be worn for 3-4 days while an area heals. Our office uses it in conjunction with our other methods for ultimate effect. Application of the tape is relatively inexpensive, and its effectiveness is well known throughout the athletic community.
The Kinesio Taping International organization has training courses which I have taken to learn the most appropriate application of this type of taping regimen for maximum effectiveness.
