Myofascial Release
Many muscular complaints never go away, even with exercise which many times can aggravate the condition. Myofascial release has been available in many forms over the years.

A Colorado Springs chiropractor developed an efficient, effective and reliable system of performing myofascial release which improves treatment times and outcomes for many common conditions. It takes a major commitment on behalf of the doctor and takes two years at least to become proficient at this. Simply stated, myofascial release improves muscle and nerve function by removing entrapments created by injuries and the way they heal.

Muscles heal with scar tissue which is a rope like consistency.  Muscles are supposed to behave like rubber bands and with each injury the scars accumulate and shorten the fibers which eventually become much less flexible and painful. You also experience weather sensitivity. Eventually they start to cramp or charley horse and are painful all the time.

Most of these chronic cases are called fibromyalgia. By hand, we diagnose, and work away the adhesions and restore normal function. The pain is gone and they are no longer is tight, unlike stretching which is only temporary.

Myofascial release adds reliability to the diagnosis and treatment of neuromusculoskeletal injuries.

Benefits of Myofascial Release
