Apricots are a delicious fruit.  Most markets have them but did you know that they are really healthy to eat as well?

Smaller than a peach, but as tart as some plumbs, they are full of nutrients including beta carotene and vitamins A, C, and E.

They’re also high in a group of polyphenol antioxidants called flavonoids, which can protect you from diabetes as well as heart disease.

They are naturally low in calories as well and you can easily have two of these small fruits and still stay on your diet.
