Do microwave ovens destroy your foods nutritional content?
Some of you may have heard from someone or read somewhere that using a microwave to heat your food destroys its nutritional content. The truth is, cooking for long periods of time will destroy and denature certain vitamins, which is probably why many canned vegetables are out of favor with those who want to eat healthy.
Since I regularly microwave fresh vegetables, I was also curious about this.
