Are your running problems coming from supination, also known as under pronation?  Here are some tips from Runner’s World Magazine. Flat feet, otherwise known as overpronation is well known for causing problems such as shin pain, ankle and knee problems.   Supination is more related to high arches, and it too can be problematic in a runner due to the stiffness of the arch. Many of us have a combination of overpronation and supination, and the asymmetry is also known to cause problems in the legs, knees and back.
