Yoga poses for strength, posture and balance

Many common techniques we teach patients for the spine and postural stability and balance have their basis in Yoga.  Yoga is quite popular and many people go to yoga classes for stress relief and also for the management of their body issues. Some common procedures we teach include planks and bridging which are great for stabilizing the core, mobilizing the joints in our spine, and improving flexibility.  Some of the more advanced poses were recently discussed by the NY Times.
