Can eating yogurt reduce or eliminate diabetes? Check this out
Diabetes is a huge problem in the USA. When you speak to some alternative nutritionists, some of them insist inflammation and gut permeability (Leaky Gut Syndrome) may be a huge part of this as well as other autoimmune and other problems as well. A recent study suggests that Yogurt can reduce your risk for type 2 diabetes.
With this in mind, Yogurt has acidophilus in it which is considered essential for the gut function or the so-called healthy gut. Antibiotics can destroy the normal flora that exists in the gut, and unfortunately, antibiotics are not just consumed when we are ill, but may also be consumed through some of the meats we consume in the USA.
Not that long ago, another author addressed this same concept and contends that antibiotics used in livestock may be making us sicker and heavier. Antibiotics are used to fatten up cattle, so wouldn’t it have the same effect on us? Even though antibiotics are not being used as much these days for this purpose, the problem is that they can permanently modify the healthy environment in the gut. Perhaps, this is why yogurt has this effect in this study.
