Protein bars; what is in them and are they really healthy? The NY Times explores. Protein bars are very popular today, and many are touting their natural ingredients. As we strive for healthier snacks, bypassing milky way bars and eating Power Bars instead, protein is good because it is fuel for the body. A healthier diet has more protein and less carbs in general.
