Blue light from a computer monitor is supposed to be bad for us since it is stimulatory and can affect your eyes and how you sleep.   Is this true? Years ago my wife suggest I needed glasses for night driving and I totally bought into the idea of prescription sunglasses and work the glasses while watching television.   Over time, I needed stronger glasses and my ability to see in the distance worsened and I grew more dependent on glasses.  My optometrist, after discussing this with him said that it is true my eyes will constantly require stronger glasses if I use them this way.  He gave me a device that I could use at home to exercise my eyes.  Today, I rarely use glasses except for over-the-counter readers occasionally due to age-related reading issues.   Most things I do avoid reading or other glasses and my distance vision got better over time.
